ARE YOU GOOD ENOUGH FOR GOD? (Grace and Acceptance)

When we get rid of the "good" in the question, the question then becomes "am I enough? The answer is a resounding YES!!!

In Romans 8:39 Paul tells us:

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

and 1 John 3:1 says:

“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.”

You see the enormity of God's love shows us that we ARE enough just as we are! We don’t have to “do” or “be” GOOD enough. Our works can not save us.

In Romans 3:23 we learn:

“For we all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.”

And Ephesians 2:8-9 says:

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God 9 not by works, so that no one can boast."

Again, WE could never do or be “good enough” but JESUS IS! And through our faith as believers in HIM we are covered by His righteousness.

Simply put, let’s say you are in debt up to your eyeballs with absolutely no means to pay it, and your not-so-nice creditors are putting the pressure on you, Then someone comes along and says, “hey, I got this. I’ll pay for the debt.” Then this person proceeds to pay your debt in full, and free you of it and your creditors. This person covered you, completely. He paid your debt for you. Then you say, "but what did I do to deserve this kindness?" And he says, "you did nothing, I just love you, friend". His love for you made you enough in his eyes! In simple terms, that is grace!

God accepts us as his children when we have faith and believe in his son Jesus Christ and he calls us his children, Children of God! That makes us, you and me, royalty, my friend!

You have been given the gift of Grace because He sees you as ENOUGH!

All for now!

May God bless you and keep you close!
